Shiksha Niketan, Gandhi Nagar marks glorious 55th foundation day

JAMMU, Feb 15: Shiksha Niketan School celebrated a significant milestone as it commemorated its 55th Foundation Day with great fervor and grandeur on the auspicious occasion of Basant Panchami.
The festivities commenced with a Saraswati prayer and Havan ceremony held within the school premises. The sacred rituals infused the school environment with a divine aura, emanating positive energies that uplifted the spirits of all present. Chanting of mantras and offerings to the sacred fire created a tranquil atmosphere, fostering a sense of harmony and spiritual rejuvenation.
Leading the ceremony were esteemed dignitaries including the Principal of the school, Sh. Rameshwar Mengi Ji, Trustee Smt. Rita Mengi Ji, Director of RMPS Mr. Rakshan Mengi Ji, Director of Gandhi Nagar and Pushp Vatika Mr. Risheek Mengi Ji, alongside the Headmaster of Jeevan Nagar, Mr. Harish Sharma, and Incharges of Pushp Vatika, High School, and Higher Secondary School in Jeevan Nagar and Gandhi Nagar. Together, they performed the Havan ceremony, seeking blessings for the smooth functioning of the school in the new academic session.
The occasion was graced by the presence of special guests and pillars of Shiksha Niketan Gandhi Nagar, including Smt. Kiran Gupta, Tripta Sharma, and Smt. Sushma Sharma, who added to the festive fervor and shared their blessings with the school community.
Prayers were offered to the Almighty for the prosperity and success of the school, and prasad was distributed among the staff and students as a symbol of divine blessings and auspicious beginnings.
The celebration of the 55th Foundation Day of Shiksha Niketan School not only commemorated its rich legacy but also reinforced its commitment to providing quality education and nurturing young minds to become responsible citizens of tomorrow.
