GDC Hiranagar organizes transformative impact lecture

HIRANAGAR, Feb 15: The Institution's Innovation Council of Govt. Girdari Lal Dogra Memorial Degree College Hiranagar organized a transformative impact lecture on entrepreneurship skills in collaboration with FICCI FLO JKL (Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry Ladies organization). Dr. Pragya Khanna, the Principal of GLDM GDC, facilitated the session, inviting esteemed experts from FICCI FLO JKL to enlighten students and faculty members on innovation, IPR, and startups.
The objective of the session was to instill awareness and cultivate entrepreneurial skills among students and faculty members, fostering a culture of innovation and enterprise within the college community. Recognized for its initiatives in innovation and entrepreneurship, the college was selected by the Ministry of Education's Innovation Cell to host the impactful lecture.
Dr. Pragya Khanna, in her address, underscored the college's commitment to imparting skill-based knowledge to students, enabling them to realize their aspirations post-education. The session was graced by Mrs. Varuna Anand, Chairperson of FICCI FLO JKL, along with Ms. Ruchika Gupta, incoming Chairperson, Ms. Sona Mehta, Treasurer, Ms. Geetika Kohli, and Ms. Surbhi Mehta, all experts in entrepreneurship.
The session commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp and Saraswati Vandana, fostering an atmosphere of reverence and enlightenment. Varuna Anand provided insights into FICCI FLO's mission and shared her inspiring journey as a successful entrepreneur, encouraging the audience with her achievements and accolades.
