J&K Bharat Scouts and Guides Association celebrated “THINKING DAY” at its Gandhi Nagar today, in which about 200 scouts & Guides more than 25 schools of Jammu District participated. As per a release, Mubasher Latifi, SP, South, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, was the Chief Guest on this occasion. All faith prayer started, each religious verses were recited by the Scouts & Guides of HINDU, MUSLIM, CHRISTIAN, SIKH and JAIN DHARMA.
I.D. Soni, State Commissioner (S), welcomed the Chief Guest and other invitees and also gave brief of the activities & programme of the Scouts/Guides movement and about the importance of Thinking Day.
The Chief Guest in his most impressive address appreciated the role of the Scouts/Guides movement which sans border and in fact emerging as one of the best service rendering movement. Madam Nasreen Khan, State Commissioner (G) presented a vote of thanks, the release added.
