| NSUI holds state executive meet, assigns charges | | |

Jammu, Feb 23: The first state executive meeting of J&K chapter of National Students Union of India (NSUI) was held at Congress Bhavan here in which all the state office bearers of the organisation participated. The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Rashid Choudhary State President NSUI J& K.
In this first meeting of the newly constituted state unit, besides giving responsibilities to Vice-Presidents, Gen. Secretaries, Secretaries and others, work plan of NSUI for the coming four months was also discussed, which is to be submitted to Sh. Rahul Gandhi, AICC Gen Sec. incharge NSUI and to Sh. Hibi Eden National President NSUI. The proposed work plan includes taking up of some important student’s issues with the authorities including, curbing the commercialisation of education, replacing the adochism with permanent recruitments in educational institution across the state, introduction of more vocational courses in rural colleges, demanding proper infrastructure in various upgraded colleges and schools and reduction in students travelling fare rates. Also the work plan will focus on the intensive open membership drive across the state, formation of district, University College and block units.
. Choudhary further revealed that Ajhat Shatru Sharma has been appointed incharge for district Kathua, Ifthikar Ahmed for district Rajouri and SKUAST University, Jammu. Mohd Shahnawaz Choudhary for district Poonch and Jammu University, Ajaz Mehr for district Anantnag and district Kulgam, Nitish Mahajan for District Raisi, Commerce College, GCW Gandhinagar College, Ayruvedic College Jammu and GMC Jammu. Rigzin Wangyal for Leh and Kargil. Charanjeet Singh Chiku for Jammu City MAM College and Science College, Arjun Singh Pathania for district Udhampur, Varun Mangotra will be the incharge for NSUI head-office at Congress Bahavan Jammu, Kahkashan Anjum for Srinagar and University of Kashmir, Raj Kamal Arya for district Doda, Sushant Gupta will be the Incharge for Proffessional and Technical Colleges , Snigdha Shekar is the incharge for district Samnba, Hafza Bashir is the Girls Coordinator, Abishekh Koushal will look after the District Jammu rural, Fayaz Ahmed will be the incharge of district Ganderbal, Feroz Khan will look after the NSUI affairs in district Ramban and Sajid Malik is the incharge for district Kishtwar.
The State Exective Members namely Sawarn sharma, Arusa. Rakesh Sharma, Ankush Raina, Sajad Ahmed and Sumit kotwal are attached to the respective district incharges.
The appointed incharges have been asked to submit their respective work plain for the next three months before 25th of Feb. 2009 and have been authorised for the unit formation in their allotted areas
