| Prof Shohab Inayat joins PDP | | |

Jammu, February 23 – Noted academician and professor of Urdu at the Jammu University, Dr Shohab Inayat Malik today joined the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Dr Malik called on the PDP Patron Mufti Mohammad Sayeed here this evening and announced his decision to join the party that he said has a realistic and workable political and economic agenda for the State encompassing the genuine concerns and aspirations of the people from all the regions and sub-regions. He said the Self-Rule agenda offers the most pragmatic way out of the Kashmir imbroglio.
Senior PDP leaders Muzaffar Hussain Baig, Murtaza Khan and Balbir Singh were also present on the occasion.
