| Interrogations in Chopra murder case intensified | | 7 Ex- Bussiness Partners detained for quiz, 21 members team constituted for the investigations | | Jammu/Sept.20:
Even today police continued working on different theories to congregate evidences in the Raju Chopra murder case. Some more persons were picked up by the police for the interrogation from which five were detained on the basis of suspicion and others were set free. According to sources police yesterday detained some close associates and ex- business partners of Raju Chopra, who were released last evening after being interrogated except two of them.
Police has seven suspects, which are under the interrogation these including SP Singh, Babbi, Ajab Singh, Raju Simblia, Billa and Kuldeep Singh. Out of them some were allowed to attend the cremation of slain Raju Chopra and his family.
According to sources, police has strict directions to collect relevant evidences for the suspects in the case are very influential.
According to the sources, a few days back Raju Chopra had paid off the money to all his partners, who, had shares in the cement factories at Samba and Railway Station, and now he was the sole owner of the factory. Now the police are also trying to confirm the reasons behind the end of the partnership.
Police also investigated the details in the sim cards of all the family members of the slain family to verify the facts about the case. Here is mention that Sunday night some persons murdered faimous businessman Raju Chopra his wife Madhu daughter Saloni and two servents and fled from their house trikuta nagar with a alto car who recovered by police Tuesday morning from hari market. Sources said police also match the finger prints with some persons who recovered by police from the alto car and Chopra’s house the suspects interrogation is on as last report came.
21 members team constituted for the investigations.
SSP Jammu Mukesh Singhhas constituted a team of 21 members including higher officials of the police, for the salvation of the Trikuta Nagar murder case. The team involves 3DSP, 2 Inspectors, 2 sub inspectors, one ASI, 6 head constables and 7 constables who will work under the supervision of SSP Jammu himself. The involves Prob. DYSP. Shehzad Salaria, Mamta Sharma, Sazad Ahmed Loan, Madan Mohan Singh, posted in SOG, Rafiq Manhas, Rajeshwar Singh Salathia.
Police has also announced a cash prize of worth Rs one lakh for any worthwhile clue in the case.
