Naya Jammu & Kashmir symbolises Hope : Rana
2/23/2024 10:09:05 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 23: "Naya Jammu Kashmir symbolises hope, progress, and inclusivity by ensuring equal rights, opportunities, and development for every citizen of Jammu and Kashmir, irrespective of religion, region or caste , in true spirit of "Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas", said Sr. BJP Leader, Devender Rana while interacting with delegations and individuals during the weekly public hearing at the BJP headquarters here along with Prof. Kulbushan Mohtra.
Rana said the new trajectory of growth story is already in process since the abrogation of Article 370 for over four years, which got new impetus with the renewed initiatives set in motion by the Prime Minister during his visit to Jammu on Tuesday. The opening of doors for investment, infrastructure development, and job creation would uplift the lives of millions of residents, particularly the youth. He said changing Jammu Kashmir under Modiji is being recognised across the political spectrum, which is a matter of pride for every citizen in this part of the country.
Rana dwelt in detail on the measures taken during recent years for establishing peace, resulting in humming economic activities and putting Jammu and Kashmir on the path of holistic development, saying abrogation of Article 370 has removed all the impediments in achieving this cherished objective. Now every segment of society is deriving the dividends of all the schemes and welfare programmes, which remained out of bounds for about seven decades, he added.
Rana said Naya Jammu & Kashmir is fast pacing towards emerging as the crowning glory of the country where each individual irrespective of caste, creed, religion or ethnicity has been equitably empowered.
Devender Rana said, the government's focus on good governance, transparency, and accountability has ensured that the fruits of development reach every corner of Naya Jammu Kashmir. The empowerment of local bodies and the participation of the youth in decision-making processes will further strengthen the democratic fabric of the region, he added.
"As Jammu and Kashmir is celebrating the historic moment post PM's visit, let us reaffirm our commitment to building a stronger, more prosperous, and united India, embrace the spirit of Naya Jammu Kashmir and work together towards realizing its full potential", Rana added.
Rana listened to the individual and collective problems during the public hearing and assured that these would be taken up at appropriate forums for earnest redressal.
