Civil Defence, organises awareness camp

JAMMU, Feb 24: One day awareness programme was held at Forest Soil Conservation Training School, Miran Sahib, Jammu which was organized under the supervision of Dy. SP. Anita Pawar, Deputy Controller Civil Defence, Jammu. 40 trainees of the training School have attended the awareness programme. Awareness about the basic knowledge of First Aid, Fire fighting, CPR, Chocking and other life saving techniques were given to the trainees by the Civil Defence expert. During the programme demonstration on the above said topics was also presented by the Civil Defence team. The main aim of the awareness programme was to educate students with regard to preventive measures during natural or man-made disasters. On the occasion Dy.SP. Anita Pawar, delivered a lecture on the topics of Disaster Management and highlighted the role and importance of Civil Defence organization. Neha Metha, Principal of the Training School appreciated and thanked the Civil Defence team for organizing such programme.
Paramjit Kumar Chief Warden R. Vijay Magotra, Dy. Chief Warden Civil Defence, Jammu, Ashok Sarngl, Range Officer, Ram Dayal Saini, Sub- Inspector, in charge Civil Defence Trainings and other staff of the training School also present on the occasion.
