Kathua police flags off 24 students on Bharat Darshan tour -2024

KATHUA, Feb 25: As a part of Civic Action Programme (CAP) of J&K Police, Addl. SP Kathua Sh. Paramjeet Singh JKPS accompanied by DySP Headquarters Kathua Sh. Manjeet Singh, DySP DAR Kathua Sh. Subash Chander alongwith other police officers/officials flagged off 24 students of District Kathua for 05 days long Bharat Darshan Tour -2024 alongwith an impressive functional ceremony held at DPL Kathua.
The group of 24 students alongwith 01 Caretaker (from J&K Police Department) selected from all over the kathua district who started their tour from District Police Lines Kathua to Jammu today and by Air from Jammu to Delhi and from Delhi to Banglore and back from Banglore to Jammu. The tour has been organised by J&K Police under the Civic Action Programme and tour will be of 05 days long and the group will return on 29 of Feb 2024 of this month. Besides, 01 caretaker is also accompanying the group, who will visit different places during their tour. These caretaker will ensure proper health care and safe journey of the students. Aim of this tour is to facilitate the children belonging to economically weaker section not only to visit other parts of India but to have an exposure that will benefit them to achieve goals in their life. During their interaction the students will get knowledge of scientific developments and cultural heritage of the country. All the lodging boarding and transport facilities have been provided by District Police Kathua.
In addition to it, touring students were advised to take full advantage of the opportunity to cherish these memories through out their life.
General Public, Parents and touring students applauded the efforts made by Kathua Police for such an initiative taken and thanked Kathua Police for providing them an opportunity to discover the vastness of the Nation.
