SAMBA, Feb 26: The Pravaad Electoral Literacy Club of SPPND Govt. Degree College, Samba, organized a captivating Poetry Recitation event centered around the theme "Greater Participation for a Stronger Democracy" as part of a two-week Voter's Awareness Programme. Held under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Twinkle Suri and the auspices of Viksit Bharat@2047, the event aimed to promote electoral literacy and encourage active participation in the democratic process.
The Poetry Recitation served as a platform for students and participants to articulate their thoughts, emotions, and aspirations regarding key aspects of democratic participation. Through passionate recitations, reflective verses, and thought-provoking messages, attendees highlighted the significance of increased voter engagement, civic responsibility, and citizen empowerment in fostering a robust and inclusive democracy.
Participants leveraged the power of spoken word and artistic expression to advocate for collective action, political involvement, and societal advancement.
