BJP's prospects bright in Jammu, Valley in ensuing Lok Sabha polls: Kavinder
2/27/2024 10:29:34 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 27: Senior BJP leader and former deputy chief minister Kavinder Gupta on Tuesday asserted that the party is hopeful of spectacular performance not only in Jammu province but Valley also in the ensuing Lok Sabha Polls as prospects are bright with people's mood largely inclined towards Saffron party policies and plans for the UT.
In a statement issued to media persons, the BJP stalwart said that the way the centre has delivered justice to people of all shades in the UT with promise of more to come, the chances for the party are strong that it will come out with flying colours by ensuring remarkable victories on all seats giving a blow to opposition leadership, which is already in doubt due to flip flops in Gupkar and India bloc alliances, as both seem to be on the verge of collapse. He said that the stupendous work done by the Modi Government in J&K especially with regard to restoring peace, ensuring colossal development and winning the hearts of people by giving them the rights denied by the conventional ruling parties for years together, the BJP has made a special place in the hearts and minds of people kindling them to vote only for the Saffron party whether it is Jammu, Kashmir or for that matter even in Ladakh. He said that looking into the mood of the people, the opposition parties including the NC, PDP and Congress have already prepared themselves for facing the devastating defeats, as could be well gauged from their half-hearted remarks with regard to upcoming polls in J&K. He said that grandiose welcome which was offered to PM Narendra Modi by the people in Jammu and similar possibility during his forthcoming visit to Valley has enlightened the entire opposition in the UT with the stark reality that their chances are bleak in the LS polls as a big zero is waiting as the figure they'll get as election outcome with all seats going into BJP's volley.
