RAMGARH, Feb 28: Sports and Physical Education Department of Government Degree College, Ramgarh, in collaboration with Rapial Mahila Mandal, affiliated with Nehru Yuva Kendra Jammu, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports Government of India, organised a Volley-ball match, under the aegis of Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (NMBA). This activity was conducted under the able guidance and leadership of Prof. (Dr.) Geetanjali Andotra, the Principal of the College.
PTI Ashok Kumar and Anil Kumar briefed the participants about the motive of the match. They said that this kind of activity will boost the confidence of the students and will further help in the overall development of their personality. Ravinder Kour, President, Rapial Mahila Mandal, Raika Labana, motivated the students to always take part in sports activities aiming at their physical, moral, social, psychological, and cultural upliftment. On behalf of the NGO Rapial Mahila Mandal she presented the college with Volleyball Kit, comprising of Volleyball Net and two Volleyballs.The participants enthusiastically showcased their skills with great zeal and fervor.
The College Principal Prof. (Dr.) Geetanjali Andotra congratulated the winning and runner-up teams for their display of discipline and sportsmanship. She also applauded the efforts of the oragnizers of the match. |
