JAMMU, Feb 28: The Pravaad Electoral Literacy Club of SPPND Govt. Degree College, Samba, successfully organised a One Day Voters' Awareness Workshop as part of a comprehensive two-week Voter's Awareness Programme under the aegis of Viksit Bharat@2047. The event was successfully organized under the patronage of Prof. (Dr.) Twinkle Suri, Principal of the college. Mohammed Sayeed, District Nodal Officer SVEEP, Samba was the chief guest for the workshop. The workshop featured an array of engaging activities comprising of four sessions. Session I commenced with a compelling keynote speech by Mohammed Sayeed, District Nodal Officer SVEEP Samba that emphasized the pivotal role of voter participation in ensuring a robust democracy. Session II saw attendees engaging in informative group discussions on Designing Effective Voter Awareness Campaigns, encouraging innovative strategies for reaching a wider audience. The event took a hands-on approach in Session III, facilitating an Interactive Workshop on Creating Wall Magazine to visually represent key voter awareness messages. In Session IV, participants collaborated on a Group Activity focusing on the Design and Content creation for the Wall Magazine, fostering teamwork and creativity in disseminating vital voter information.
The Pravaad Electoral Literacy Club extended its gratitude to Principal of the college, the chief guest and participants who contributed to making the event a resounding success.
