5 days Crash Course on New Criminal Laws-2023 concludes at PTTI Vijaypur

VIJAYPUR, Feb 28: Five days Crash Course on new Criminal Laws-2023 which was commenced at PTTI Vijaypur on 22.02.2024 concluded today in which 50 Police personnel including SHOs, Incharge Police Posts and Investigating Officers of various units of Jammu-Kathua-Samba Range participated. On this occasion, a special lecture of Subash Chander Gupta, Retd. District & Sessions Judge was arranged with a motive to enlighten the Police personnel with the key provisions of new Criminal Laws-2023 viz. Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita-2023, Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita-2023 and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam-2023 which are going to be implemented in the Country with effect from 1st of July 2024. The guest speaker delivered an impressive lecture, interacted with the Police personnel and replied to their queries concerning New Criminal Laws patiently.
Pawan Khajuria, Retd. Joint Director Prosecution also delivered a lecture to the participants and shared his insights to apprise about the New Criminal Laws.
During valediction, Dushyant Sharma, SSP thanked both the dignitaries for sparing their precious time for sharing their valuable experiences with the participants which would definitely help the Police personnel while investigating the cases when the New Criminal Laws would come into force.
Among others, Khushwant Singh Dy.SP (Admn.), Surrinder Paul, Dy.SP (Indoor/Tech.), Ch. Asif Iqbal, Sr.PO, Rahul Sambyal, Chairman NGO Justice for Youth, Ram Lal (CLI), Inspr. Surinder Singh (CDI), Inspr. Mulkh Raj, Inspr. Anil Kumar, Inspr. Himanshu Dutta, Inspr. Ashish Darmat were present on the occasion.
