JAMMU, Mar 1: In a spirit of civic responsibility and community engagement, the National Service Scheme (NSS) units of GGM Science College kick started a campaign on 'Mera Pehla vote Desh ke liye' on 1st March 2024 under the patronship of Dr. Rajesh Kumar Gupta, Principal of GGM Science College.
The highlight of the day was the solemn pledge taken by students to exercise their voting rights responsibly in the upcoming elections, reaffirming their commitment to democracy and nation-building.
Dr. Rajesh Kumar Gupta, Principal of GGM College, delivered an inspiring address emphasising the importance of youth involvement in shaping the nation's future.
Under the guidance of NSS Program Officers, Dr. Rahul Kait, and Dr. Neha Sharma, students enthusiastically participated in the initiative aimed at promoting social awareness and active citizenship.
Among the distinguished guests present were Prof. Lekh Raj, Head,Department of Zoology, along with esteemed faculty members Dr. Narinder Kumar, Prof. Jyotdeep Kour, Prof. Balkrishan, and Prof. Reetika, whose support and mentorship have been invaluable in organising today's events.
