Pinegrove School organizes investiture ceremony

JAMMU, Mar 1: The Pinegrove School, Dharampur Student Council 2024 was announced by Head Teacher, Mr. Sanjay Chauhan at the prestigious Investiture Ceremony, organised on 28th February 2024.
The Head Boy, Head Girl, Prefects and Coordinators were formally inducted with badges by the Heads of School. The oath-taking was conducted by the Head Boy of last year, Aditya Raj Singh. The members of the Student Council 2023 handed over the charge and the flag to the newly appointed members.
Yerik Gauri was declared the Head Boy and Mehak Kaur Dhillon, the Head Girl. Dherya Sharma and Ashman Kaur Bajwa were declared the Chinar House Prefects; Nensang Lepcha and Simrat Dhillon, the Deodar House Prefects; Rohak Goyal and Aisha Pradhan, the Oak House Prefects; while Atharv Sharma and Sara Thakur, the Teak House Prefects. Devashish Saizal and Ayush Rai were appointed Sports Prefects for the First and Second Terms of School, wherein they would also alternate as Sports Coordinators, along with Aadhya Sharma. Student Coordinators are tasked to various key areas of school functioning and accepted their new responsibilities with grace and zeal. Art would be looked after by Karma Lepcha, MUN by Suyash Bansal, Ecology by Vishesh and Vridhi Sharma, Social Service by Taarish Mittal and Mehak Singh, Band by Rohit Garg and Priyal, PA Management by Prithvish Monga, Oration by Parth Goyal and Guneet Kaur, Photography by Rupansh Jain, Stage Events by Satvik Shokal and Amrita Rai, Discipline by Sukhvinder Singh and Nisha Rai, and Publications by Supash Goswami and Hargun Kaur.
In addition to induction of the Prefectorial Body, the Pinegrove School Colours were awarded to 8 students of Class XII 2023 for a commendable display of excellence in Activities and Sports in the Final Term of the previous year. Aditya Raj Singh received School Honours for MUN and Parade, Khushansh Singh Khatri for PT, Soccer and Gymnastics; Divyansh Sarawgi for Music and Parade; Pranjal Chahar for Art, MUN and Parade; Abhayraj Singh, Akarsh Jawa, Harshit Gaur and Krishna Bansal for Parade.
Executive Director, Capt. AJ Singh and Director Administration, Samiksha, along with all the School Heads, congratulated the awardees of the School Honours and the Student Council. Capt. Singh encouraged the core 'C' values of care, compassion and collaboration as they pledged to take over their new responsibilities as Student Leaders to the best of their burgeoning abilities.
