KC Public Law School visits police station

JAMMU, Mar 1: In a proactive initiative aimed at fostering community engagement and understanding of law enforcement procedures, faculty members along with a contingent of 100 students from KC Public Law School, Jammu, undertook a visit to Police Station Pacca Danga. Led by Smt. Shalini Sharma and Smt. Nashi, the delegation engaged with police personnel to gain insights into the operations and functions of the station.
During the visit, the group interacted with various stakeholders including Munshi, CCTNS Operators, and notably, the Station House Officer (SHO), Inspector Rakesh Jamwal. Inspector Jamwal delivered a comprehensive lecture addressing critical topics such as drug abuse, cybercrime, and traffic regulations. The session enlightened attendees on the intricacies of police procedures, from the lodging of First Information Reports (FIR) to the finalization of court challans.
The students enthusiastically participated in the discussions, posing queries which were expertly addressed by Inspector Jamwal. The experience left them inspired to contribute positively to society and uphold principles of law and order in their future endeavors.
Expressing their appreciation, the students applauded the diligent efforts of the Jammu and Kashmir Police in maintaining public safety and order. Furthermore, they pledged to combat drug abuse and work collectively towards the betterment of Viksit Bharat, symbolizing a commitment to a developed and prosperous India.
Under the meticulous supervision of SDPO City North Sh. Devinder Singh, SP City North Shivam Sidharath, and overall guidance from the esteemed SSP Jammu Vinod Kumar IPS, the visit concluded successfully. Refreshments were provided, enhancing the camaraderie between the law enforcement personnel and the visiting delegation.
This initiative not only bridges the gap between law enforcement and the community but also instills a sense of civic responsibility and awareness among the youth, fostering a safer and more inclusive society.
