Modi Govt's empowerment agenda set to secure landslide victory in 2024 LS Polls: Kavinder
3/1/2024 10:41:05 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 1: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta asserted that the Modi government's empowerment agenda will lead to a landslide victory in the 2024 Lok Sabha Polls. He emphasized the transformative impact of empowerment-focused policies on garnering support and confidence from the electorate, while highlighting the government's unwavering commitment to uplifting marginalized sections and fostering inclusive development.
In a statement issued here today, the senior BJP leader highlighted the government's achievements in providing 10 per cent reservation to Economically Weaker Sections, constructing 3.5 crore houses for the poor, providing sanitation facilities to 11.72 crore households, providing 9.6 crore gas connections, free treatment to more than 60 crore persons and free rations to more than 80 crore people of the country.
Kavinder contrasted these achievements with the Congress party's record of corruption prior to 2014 and claimed that the BJP has set benchmarks by introducing welfare schemes and creating infrastructure like IITs, IIMs, and AIIMS in the past ten years.
Highlighting the government's commitment to the poor, Kavinder asserted that the BJP has given security and dignity to the poor, lifting 27 per cent citizens out of poverty. He further stated that while the Congress party made empty promises for four generations with the slogan "Garibi Hatao", the BJP has actually worked towards eradicating poverty.
Gupta stated that the people of the country have made up their minds to support Prime Minister Modi, and he expressed confidence that the BJP will form the next government at the Centre by winning 400 plus seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.
