Samba police hosts educational tour for border area students under Civic Action Programme

SAMBA, Mar 2: Samba Police orchestrated an enlightening awareness tour themed "Policing in Amrit Kaal" in the Ramgarh sector, catering to 30 students from Government and private schools of the border area. This initiative falls under the Civic Action Programme, aiming to foster community engagement and education.
The educational tour took the students to various significant locations including the Border Police Station Ramgarh, Baba Chamliyal Shrine, Border Out Post (BOP) Chamliyal, and other border areas within the Ramgarh sector. Here, the students had the opportunity to interact with Police Jawans and security personnel stationed in these areas, gaining insights into the nature of their duties and the challenges they face.
Upon the conclusion of the tour, Samba Police distributed stationery items and provided packed lunches to the participating students. Additionally, the students were felicitated with certificates as a token of appreciation under the Civic Action Programme.
Expressing their enthusiasm, the students shared their experiences and gratitude towards Samba Police for organizing such a valuable awareness programme. They emphasized the significance of such initiatives in enhancing their understanding of police operations and border areas.
Police officers commended the students for their participation in the tour, acknowledging their eagerness to learn about police functioning and border security.
