| CIF organizes medical camp at Talwara | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 25- Reaching out to the local populace with an aim of winning their hearts and minds, a medical camp was organized by Counter Insurgency Force (Ultimate) at Talwara today under operation Sadbhavana. The camp drew an overwhelming response from the locals who turned out in large numbers for medical treatment. The camp was inaugurated by General Officer Commanding, Ultimate Force.
A total of 600 persons including women and children were treated. A team of doctors from Army and civil including a lady medical officer treated patients for various ailments. Free medical examination and health checks were also organized for the people of these remote regions.
Speaking on the occasion, General Officer Commanding, Ultimate Force exhorted people to make optimum utilization of the medical camps being organized by the Army. He also stressed upon the importance of education and generation of more employment for the youth for the betterment of the state in future.
