| JKAACL Organises mega Cultural festival | | |

Jammu, Mar 2: Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages in collaboration with GDC Udhampur organised a one day mega cultural festival in Udhapur that spellbound the audience .
Padhamshri Shiv Nirmohi a renowned Dogri writer graced the occasion as Chief guest, MS Anjali Mahajan GDC, Nagrota Prakash Premi respectively were the guest of honors.
Romesh Kumar Gupta principal Govt. Degree College,Udhampur and other dignitaries lightened the traditional lamp before commencing the festival. Bharat Singh Manhas Secretry JKAACL While welcoming the guests including a huge audience of students and the local artists said, this is the 5th Megha Cultural Festival being organized in the district Udhampur since March 2023. He said, the main and basic object of the Academy is to search new talent especially in the local areas of all the districts of Jammu and Kashmir division and also to provide the platform to senior artists to disseminate the regional culture of the state. Shiv Nirmohi while prasing the literary and cultural activities of the Academy said Academy has now become more vibrant by organizing its activity continuously in every corner of the state. Prof. Ramesh also gave the detail of achievements including academic and co- curricular of the college especially in his tenure Suresh Kumar Dogra Presented vote of thanks to all the guests and the dignatries. The event was very efficiently conducted by Prof. Pankaj Sharma Prof. Revika Arora who was also the coordinator of the whole programme. |
