JAMMU, Mar 3: The NSS Unit of Maulana Azad Memorial College, Jammu, in collaboration with the Electoral Literacy Club and the Department of Political Science, orchestrated an enlightening online lecture titled 'Role of Women in Elections.' The event, held under the patronage of the esteemed Principal Dr. B.B. Anand, witnessed enthusiastic participation from NSS volunteers and students of the Political Science Department.
Dr. Prem Singh, Head of the Political Science Department at GDC Poone (Reasi), served as the esteemed speaker for the lecture, providing invaluable insights into the pivotal role played by women in electoral processes. The session, expertly coordinated by Dr. Om Raj Katoch, Head of the Economics Department, aimed to foster awareness and understanding of gender dynamics within the realm of electoral politics.
Under the able management of NSS Program Officers Prof. Shabeer Ahmed, Prof. Lukesha, and Prof. Kailash Sharma, the online lecture served as a platform for engaging discourse and knowledge-sharing on pertinent issues related to women's participation in elections.
