| Dip Engrs demand redress of problems | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 25- The United Diploma Engineers Welfare Forum (UDEWF) in a general body held at Rajinder Park here today discussed the problems confronting the engineers and urged the pay anomaly committee to reconsider their long pending demand with regard to the grades of Diploma engineers. The meeting chaired by SC Goswami was attended by diploma engineers of different engineering wings. The members expressed their concern over the problems being faced by the diploma engineers in day to day working in different engineering wings. The members appealed the pay anomaly committee to reconsider the grades of diploma engineer cadre. They also voiced their concern over non-implementation of their long pending demands including restoration of entry level grade of junior engineer and promotion from J.E. to A.E. after completion of 15 years of service and enhancement in fixed T.A. Manjit Singh, Taniq Sayeed, Anil Gupta, Harish Kumar, Gopal Bandyal, Ravi Kumar, Satish Kumar Vaid, Kuljeet Singh and Narinder Sharma also addressed the meeting.
