GDC Samba conducts cleanliness drive

SAMBA, Mar 4: The NSS unit MAITRI of SPPND Govt. Degree College Samba, orchestrated a highly impactful cleanliness Drive at Chichi Mata Temple Mansar Morh Samba. The initiative taken by the unit saw enthusiastic participation of about 50 NSS Volunteers reflecting their dedication to contribute towards a cleaner and greener Environment. NSS Volunteers rallied together to collect litter and debris thereby revitalizing the natural beauty of the area. Equipped with garbage bags and a shared sense of purpose, volunteers worked tirelessly to collect trash and restore cleanliness in the surroundings. The successful execution of cleanliness drive serves as testament to the NSS units dedication to fostering a culture of social responsibility and community service among the student body. Through initiatives like this, students are encourage to take ownership of their surrounding and actively contribute to initiatives that benefit the society at large. Prof. (Dr.) Twinkle Suri, Principal of the college commended the dedication and hard work exhibited by NSS Volunteers and NSS Programme Officer thereby recognizing their commitment to fostering environment consciousness and active participation within the community.
