Women's tailoring programme concludes at SBI RSETI

JAMMU, Mar 4: The SBI Rural Self Employment Training Institute (SBI-RSETI) in Jammu successfully concluded a Women's Tailor Training Programme at its Roop Nagar facility, marking a significant step towards empowering women through skill development. The program witnessed the participation of 16 candidates from various parts of Jammu District, who underwent rigorous training under the expert guidance of the institute's faculty.
The culmination of the program was celebrated with a small yet impactful function, graced by Sh. Romesh Chander, Director, and faculty members of SBI RSETI, Jammu. Certificates of participation were awarded to the candidates, recognizing their dedication and commitment to acquiring new skills.
During the event, the assessment of the batch was conducted by Assessor Sh. A.K. Razdan from the National Academy of RUDSETI (NAR), ensuring the quality and proficiency of the training imparted. Sh. Romesh Chander, in his interaction with the candidates, emphasized the importance of utilizing the skills acquired at SBI RSETI to become self-reliant. He encouraged the candidates to leverage the training received and explore avenues for entrepreneurship.
Furthermore, Director RSETI enlightened the candidates about various Social Security Schemes, including PMJJBY, PMSBY, APY, and assured them of support in establishing their ventures. He reiterated the institute's commitment to assisting candidates in securing credit through different loan schemes offered by banks.
Mrs. Deepu Bala and Mrs. Shallu Sharma, faculties of SBI RSETI Jammu, delivered the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all stakeholders for their support and dedication towards the success of the Women's Tailor Programme.
The conclusion of the training program not only equips the participants with valuable skills but also underscores the SBI RSETI's commitment to fostering entrepreneurship and economic empowerment among women in the region.
