Reasi police solved theft case within 8 hours

REASI, Mar 5: On the basis of complaint received from a pilgrim Atharv Sulakhiya S/O Santosh Kumar Sulakhiya R/O Chorai, Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh at Police Station Bhawan that unknown person has stolen 04 mobiles along with the other items worth Rs 160,597/-.
In this regard, Case FIR no. 02/2024 U/S 379 IPC was registered and investigation started by P/S Bhawan. A special team led by Khyatimaan Khajuria SHO P/S Bhawan immediately rounded up many suspects and finally successfully recovered 04 mobiles and stolen property worth Rs. 160,597/- from accused person namely Rahul Singh S/O Subash Singh R/O Pakhlai, Udhampur alongwith stolen property worth Rs. 160597/- who was arrested in the instant case. His interrogation for his involvement in other cases of similar nature is going on. Pilgrims hailed the effort of Reasi police for swift and prompt action and recovery of stolen items of pilgrim.
