Shakti Vandan Abhiyan to fulfill vision of women empowerment, self-reliance: Rekha Mahajan

JAMMU, Mar 5: As the Lok Sabha elections draw closer, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) District Jammu South has initiated the Shakti Vandan Abhiyan to actively involve women in the campaign. A rally on the banner of 'Nari Shakti Vandan Yatra 'was taken out under the leadership of its BJP District President Jammu South Rekha Mahajan, under the aegis of Bharatiya Janata Party District Jammu South including team Mahila Morcha unit, from Valmiki Mandir in Gandhi Nagar, ward no.20 of Bahu Constituency drops under district Jammu South.
The Nari Shakti Vandan Marathon saw the esteem presence of BJP District President Jammu South Rekha Mahajan, Seh Prabhari Jammu North Vinay Gupta, State Secretary BJP Veenu Khanna, District General Secretary and Convenor of Programme Akash Chopra, Pushpinder Charak, Mahila Morcha General Secretary Neha Mahajan, Mahila Morcha District President and Co-Convenor of the program Divya Jain, Mandal Presidents Neeraj Puri, Bharat Bhushan, Former councilor of ward Rahul Kumar, District team, Mahila Karyakartas residing in Bahu Constituency. The campaign aims to establish connections with Matrishakti to disseminate crucial information about the central government's schemes and accomplishments to women.
Rekha Mahajan highlighted various schemes initiated by the central government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. She asserted the need to empower and enable women, outlining the achievements of the government in this regard. The Shakti Vandan Abhiyan was launched to fulfill the vision of women empowerment and self-reliance envisioned by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Vinay Gupta stressed the role of the central government in uplifting and empowering women through different schemes. Vinay Gupta expressed that empowering women would lead to their participation and influence at the Panchayat level across the Jammu South.
Veenu Khanna noted that the campaign focuses on skills and entrepreneurship, bringing comprehensive changes in the lives of individuals and families. She elaborates the Shakti Vandan Abhiyan aims to recognize and honor self-reliant women in different areas of the Jammu South, contributing to their development and self-sufficiency.
