JAMMU, Mar 5: Central Bureau of Investigaton register a case in grabbing state land.
According to the CBI that Deputy Secretary, GAD, Govt of J&K, vide letter No, GAD-VIG0SP/7/2023"04-GAD(7104900) dated 06.12,2023, has conveyed the decision of Govt of J&K, for transfer of FIR No,276/.2019 registered at Police Station Bahu Fort, Jammu to CBI for investigation, The said letter is annexed herewith as "Annexure A". The said FIR was registered in P§ Bahu Fort, Jammu on 26,10,2019 against the accused Sourab Singh S/o Late Darshan Singh, Magistrate, Jammu, Copy of FIR No, 276/2019 of Police Station Bahu Fort, Jammu is annexed herewith as "Annexure B\ The contents of FIR No, 276/2019 of Police Station Bahu Fort, Jammu are reproduced below:
Brief facts of the case are that on 26,10,2019, a complaint duly originated by Addl, District Magistrate, Jammu, vide his office letter No, ADC/ADM/PS/19-20)1309 dated 25.10.2019 has been received, the contents of the complaint are that office of the District Magistrate Jammu Wazarat Road, Jammu 180001 (J&K), The Sr. Superintendent of Police, Jammu No ADC/ADM/PS/19-20/1309 dated 25/10/2019, Subject: Lodging of an FIR Sourab Singh S/o Late Darshan Singh R/o Narhi, R, S. Pura, District Jammu. Sir, An application was received from one Sourab Singh S/o Late Darshan Singh R/o Narhi, R. S. Pure, District Jammu on 30.09.2019 for attestation mutation under Roshni Act for land measuring 26 K 11 M falling under Kh. No. 06 situated at Village Rakh Bahu, Narwal, Jammu. The same was forwarded for providing a report alongwith the original allotment order made in favour of the applicant, if any, from the office of Assistant Commissioner, Nazool, Jammu. In the meanwhile, the applicant Sourab Singh S/o Late Darshan Singh R/o Narhi, R..S.Pura, District Jammu appeared before the Tehsildar Bahu with an order (copy enclosed), claiming to be issued by the Deputy Commissioner, Jammu directing the Tehsiidar for attestaiion of mutation In question. Tehsildar Bahu upon seeing such an unusual letter got suspicious and immediately contacted the Deputy Commissioner's office and verified about the authenticity of office number and date appended in the order presented by the applicant It was then realized that it's a fake order bearing fake number and date of the Deputy Commissioner's office, apparently having being done by the applicant, to encroach state land in an unlawful manner, The matter, is as such of a serious nature and requires to be investigated thoroughly Thus, it is requested that FIR be lodged against the applicant i.e Sourab Singh S/o Late Darshan Singh R/o Narhi, R,S,Pura, District Jammu forthwith. Also, the said applicant be arrested immediately to investigate into the matter at the earliest, By Order District Magistrate, Jammu. Your's faithfully, SDA Addl, District Magistrate, Jammu. As per the aforesaid contents of application offences u/s 420, 467, 468, 471 RPC is made out Accordingly, the instant case as per aforesaid offences has been registered and investigation thereof entrusted to SI Rahul Dogra PD No.EXJ-1Q9467~EXJ. Special Report -°A" will be submitted separately Sd/- SHO P/S Bahu Fort, Jammu" Jammu u/s 420, 467, 468 & 471 ACB,Jammu for investigation.
Therefore, on the basis of reference received from Govt, of J&K, the FIR No, 276/2019 of PS Bahu Fort, Jammu is re-registered against Sourab Singh S/o Late Jammu Darshan Singh R/o Narhi R S Pura u/s 420, 467, 468 & 47. —JNF
