PHDCCI Jammu chair deliberates funding challenges and lithium industry opportunities

JAMMU, Mar 5: PHDCCI Jammu along with Ashish Jain, Raj dua Co Chairs of PHDCCI Jammu Chapter attended and deliberated at town hall meeting organised by RBI for existing and prospective entrepreneurs of district Reasi at ITC Welcome Hotel Katra. Meeting was primarily on the topic of funding problems of Msme's and a detailed presentation on Treds and SIDBI'S Schemes were shown by the respective Heads of the agencies.
Rahul Sahai Chair PHDCCI pointed out that in Treds platform more and more buyers has to be enrolled because of which this scheme is not taking flight in J&k he said that Treds is very good platform for Msme's who are registered with Udyam and Msme's can take benefit of bill discounting through this platform and problem of blocking of funds could be resolved through this. Rahul Sahai Chair PHDCCI also deliberated with senior Officers of RBI J&K & Ladakh and apprised them about funding problems to Msme's especially shared that risk taking capacity should be enhanced at manager level of all Bank branches and cases should be disposed in a time bound manner to improve funding to Msme's. Rahul Sahai also shared and applauded the house about the upcoming opportunities regarding lithium based industry in District Reasi where senior officials from industry department Shri Arun Manhas Director Industries Jammu and G Velladurai MSME DFO Jammu was present and talked about the subject. Sahai shared with all the officers that lithium is going to be the game changer in District Reasi and industry department and msmes Department should encourage Msme's to grab opportunities related to lithium products and should set up related industry . After Address of Rahul Sahai Chair PHDCCI Jammu Kamal Patnaik Regional Director Reserve Bank of India Jammu Kashmir and ladakh asked the heads of various banks prominently PNB and SBI to speak on the issues raised by PHD Chamber of Commerce and industry Jammu chapter and heads of SBI and PNB applauded the house that they are working on risk taking capacities and they themselves monitor the accounts which comes to their knowledge and the guide lower staff to clear the cases in a time bound manner and said any one having any problem can visit us any time.
