SAMBA, Mar 6: Intensifying its drive against illegal mining in the district, Samba Police has seized three vehicles in the jurisdiction of Police Station Samba which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material.
A Police team of Police Station Samba headed by SHO Police Station Samba while performing patrolling duty in jurisdictional area, has seized one tractor trolley without registration number for illegal mining/transportation of construction material in the area. Whereas, a Police party of Police Post Rakh Amb Talli headed by Incharge Police Post Rakh Amb Talli while on patrolling duty in the area has seized one tractor trolleys bearing regd. Nos. JK21H-9554 for illegal mining/transportation in the area.
Similarly, a Police party of Police Post Mansar headed by Incharge Police Post Mansar during patrolling duty in the area has seized one dumper bearing regd. No. JK14F-8303 for illegal mining/transportation in the area.
The above mentioned vehicles have been seized by Samba Police and handed over to Geology & Mining Department, Samba for further action. |
