Police solves theft case, 4 accused arrested

UDHAMPUR, Mar 7: Udhampur Police have solved a theft case of PS Udhampur by arresting 04 accused persons involved in the commission of crime and recovered stolen property (17 mobiles phones and one led Tv) from their possession.
Police Station Udhampur received a complaint from one Aamir Hussain S/O Bashir Hussain R/O W.No 04 H.NO 166 Behind PS Udhampur stating therein that some unknown thieves have stolen mobiles from his shop in the jurisdiction of PS Udhampur.
In this regard case FIR under relevant sections of law stands registered in PS Udhampur
Taking cognizance of the matter, a team of PS Udhampur headed by SHO PS Udhampur Insp Raghubir Singh and rounded up few suspects and put to sustained questioning. During which four suspects namely:-
Mukesh Kumar S/O Hem Raj R/o Bhaga Tehsil and District Reasi
Muneer Ahmed S/O Mohd Iqbal R/O Debrah Krimachi Tehsil and District Udhampur
Asquer Ali s/O Manzoor Ahmed R/o Chak Near Matadoor stand Tehsil & District Udhampur
Krishan Jamwal S/O Ram Charan R/O Darora Chak Tehsil & District Udhampur confessed their involvement in the said case who have been arrested by the Police team.
On the confession of all four accused persons stolen property (17 mobile phones and one Led TV) has been recovered by the police team within 24 hrs.
Further investigation into the matter is in progress
