JAMMU, Mar 9: Government Degree College (GDC) Dudu Basantgarh organized a thought-provoking seminar under the theme "Investing in Women: Accelerate Progress" in celebration of International Women's Day. The event witnessed active participation from the principal, staff, and students, all joining hands to advocate for the empowerment of women. The seminar served as a platform for students to showcase the empowerment of women across the nation, with insightful contributions from esteemed faculty members including Prof. Pradeep Kumar Kundal, Dr. Mushtaq Ahmad Bhat, Dr. Mehraj Ud Din Dar, and Ms. Vanita. Their valuable thoughts inspired the audience, comprising 20 enthusiastic students who shared their suggestions and perspectives on the topic. Principal Prof. Anirudh Sharma, in his address, urged students to be proactive in advancing the cause of women's empowerment. He emphasized the importance of respecting and supporting women, recognizing them as the backbone of society. His motivational words encouraged students to not only empower themselves but also to inspire and uplift others.
