JAMMU, Mar 11: Jammu Police has issued a statement regarding a viral video circulating on social media involving allegations of rape. An adult woman, whose identity is being withheld for privacy reasons, came forward on 10.03.24 to report at Police Station Nowabad with a written complaint. She alleged that she was raped by one individual along with two others after being contacted telephonically. The incident, according to her, occurred on 03/03/24 at a hotel in the Jewel area.
In response to this complaint, Case FIR no. 40/24 U/S 376-D/IPC has been registered at Police Station Nowabad. The investigation into the matter has been entrusted to the SHO Police Station Nowabad.
Jammu Police assures the public that thorough investigations will be conducted into this matter, and appropriate actions will be taken in accordance with the law. |
