Jammu, Mar 11: Theft case solved within 24 hours, recovered stolen items and 05 fir already has been registered against accused person in different police station of district Jammu* Theft case FIR No. 28/2024 US 380/454 IPC was registered at Police Post sarwal Jammu after getting complaint of theft, when unknown person stolen some items as under 1. Two iron grills 2. One motor for water purpose 3. One old Fan 4. Some Five packs of stationery papers. A special team was constituted under the supervision of SP City North Shivam Siddharth IPS for recover the stolen material which was led by Inspector satvir Singh under the supervision of SDPO City West zaheer abaas Zafri. During investigation, follow up some CCTV footages and several suspects were rounded up and after sustained questioning one person identified as Mukul matto s/o Magga Mattoo R/O H.no. 119 balmiki colony Gandhi Nagar Jammu confessed to have committed the crime and on his disclosure stolen property Has been recovered. Furthermore 05 FIR Already has been registered against him in different p/s of district Jammu. Detail is as under 1. Fir no. 99/2017 U/S 323/341/382/427 IPC of P/S Gandhi Nagar 2. FIR NO. 311/2022 U/S 323/324/504 IPC of P/S Gandhi Nagar 3. FIR NO. 241/2022 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act of p/s Gandhi Nagar. 4. 254/23 U/S 454/380 IPC of P/S Bakshi Nagar 5. 160/2022 U/S 454/380 IPC P/S Bage- bahu. Further investigation to unearth his linkages with other theft cases and with other theft is going on.
