JAMMU, Mar 12: The event management and sports club of the Department of Commerce at the University of Jammu proudly hosted an exhilarating chess competition today, showcasing the intellectual prowess and strategic acumen of its M.Com students. The competition, which drew participation from a pool of talented individuals, featured four standout contestants: Mansha Mahajan, Shiwani Sharma, Mytri Angral, and Keshav Sharma. In a display of exceptional skill and determination, Mansha Mahajan and Shiwani Sharma emerged as the victors, demonstrating their mastery over the intricacies of the game.
Dr. Jeevan Jyoti, the esteemed Head of the Department of Commerce, extended warm congratulations to all participants and especially commended the outstanding performance of Mansha Mahajan and Shiwani Sharma. Their dedication and proficiency exemplify the spirit of excellence that the department continuously fosters among its students.
