BJP ready for simultaneous Lok Sabha, Assembly polls

Jammu, Mar 14: Echoing the voice of other political parties, the BJP on Thursday said that the party was ready for simultaneous Lok Sabha and Assembly polls in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
In an informal chat with media persons, co-incharge of J&K BJP Ashish Sood asserted that the BJP was always ready for any election in any part of the country.
“BJP is never afraid of electoral battle because our cadre and workers are always ready for elections”, Sood said, and the decision to hold the Assembly elections in J&K will be taken by the Election Commission of India (ECI).
“Whenever ECI will take decision we will fight the election with the support of the people of J&K”, he asserted.

Meanwhile, addressing a meeting at Ramgarh and Bishnah, Sood asked the party workers to meet every beneficiary of public welfare schemes initiated by the Modi government in their vicinity. He said that the Modi government has done unprecedented public welfare works for the needy and the neglected. He said that the Modi government has worked on the ground to provide benefits to the actual needy removing any black sheep in between, thus herby ensuring, that the benefit granted by the government does uplift the socio-economic status of the needy and the oppressed sections of the society.
Sood, sharing further details in the meetings, asked the party workers to conduct a minimum of 5 meetings in every single booth. He also enquired the party leaders about the progress on Wall Writings and joinings by prominent people in their respective areas.
