JAMMU, Mar 15: Today marked the vibrant celebration of talent and camaraderie as K.C. College of Education hosted the AAHGAAZ Talent Hunt cum Fresher's Party 2024 within the lively confines of the college premises. Distinguished guests including Dr. Sandeep Gupta, Dr. Asha Upadhyay, and Dr. Vikram Singh, Assistant Regional Directors of IGNOU Jammu, added prestige to the occasion.
The event unfolded with an array of captivating performances by the students, encompassing songs, dances, poetry, shayari, and engaging fun-games, showcasing the diverse talents of the student body. Commencing with the traditional lighting of the lamp and Saraswati Vandana, the program exuded an aura of festivity and cultural enrichment.
The highlight of the event was a colorful Ramp Walk featuring the students of semester - I, which captivated the audience with its flair and style. Dr. Sanjay Tickoo, Principal of the college, lauded the students for their exceptional display of talent, commending their effective presentation that captivated the audience.
Adding to the excitement, the event also witnessed the bestowal of titles upon deserving students. Aman Sharma and Ramika Choudhary were crowned Miss and Mr. K.C. College of Education respectively, while Sneha, Taniya Rajput, Sonika, and Shivani received accolades for Miss Talented, Best Dressed up, Most Confident, and Best Personality respectively.
Guiding the proceedings with finesse, Apoorva and Prachi took on the role of comperes, ensuring smooth transitions and engaging interactions throughout the program. Dr. Puja Sharma, Convenor of the Cultural Club, along with Rinchan Namgyal, Club Secretary, skillfully orchestrated the event, ensuring its success.
The festivities continued with a lavish lunch served to both students and staff, fostering a sense of community and camaraderie. The program concluded at 3:30 pm, leaving behind memories of joyous celebration and camaraderie, setting the stage for a promising academic year ahead.
