3/15/2024 10:09:40 PM

Early Times Report
KISHTWAR, Mar 15: In a concerted effort to maintain road safety and enforce traffic regulations, District Police Kishtwar conducted an operation under the banner of "3rd Eye Kishtwar," resulting in the issuance of challans to 60 violators for various offenses under the Motor Vehicle Act. The offenses primarily included rash driving, driving without a helmet, and wrong parking within Kishtwar town.
Under the proactive directives of SSP Kishtwar, Shri Abdul Qayoom-JKPS, a specialized team was constituted for the purpose of overseeing traffic enforcement. Utilizing advanced technical aids such as CCTV surveillance mechanisms, the team efficiently monitored the streets, capturing photographs and conducting videography to identify instances of traffic rule violations. The number plate reading system played a pivotal role in identifying the vehicles involved in the violations.
Following the identification process, the team meticulously ascertained the residential addresses of the vehicle owners. Subsequently, copies of the challans, along with photographic evidence of the violations, were dispatched to the respective residences of the violators.
The vehicle numbers of the identified violators are as follows: [List of vehicle numbers provided].
This stringent enforcement action underscores the commitment of District Police Kishtwar towards ensuring road safety and fostering a culture of compliance with traffic regulations. Such operations serve as a deterrent against reckless driving behaviors and contribute to the overall safety and well-being of road users in Kishtwar. For further inquiries or assistance regarding traffic violations, individuals are encouraged to reach out to District Police Kishtwar.
