Doda police facilitates PCPG meeting in Kastigarh for enhanced community engagement

JAMMU, Mar 15: In a proactive effort to strengthen community relations and address local concerns, Doda Police organized a Police Community Partnership Group Meeting (PCPG) in Kastigarh on March 15, 2024. The meeting, chaired by Dy.SP. Hqrs Doda, Ajay Anand, witnessed the participation of prominent individuals and elderly members from the area, under the guidance of Shri Javaid Iqbal-JKPS SSP Doda.
During the interactive session, attendees commended the police force for their commitment to engaging with the community and addressing their grievances. Various demands and issues affecting the locality were raised by the participants, reflecting the diverse needs of the community.
Dy.SP Hqrs Doda attentively listened to the concerns voiced by the attendees and assured them that their grievances, particularly those pertaining to other departments, would be appropriately addressed through collaboration with the relevant authorities. Moreover, issues related to law enforcement were promised to be resolved promptly and efficiently. Emphasizing the importance of communal harmony and cooperation with law enforcement agencies, Dy.SP Hqrs Doda urged participants to remain vigilant and report any instances of criminal activity, such as drug peddling, addiction, and smuggling, to the authorities. Additionally, participants were briefed on various awareness topics, including online fraud, traffic regulations, and the adverse effects of substance abuse.
The attendees pledged their full support and cooperation to Doda Police in their endeavors to combat the menace of drugs and other criminal activities, reaffirming their commitment to fostering a safer and more secure community.
