| DM, SSP discuss action plan with sectoral officers | | Parliamentary Elections | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 15: District Magistrate, Sachin Kumar Vaishya and Senior Superintendent of Police Dr. Vinod Kumar today convened a comprehensive meeting, here in the Teachers' Bhawan, to discuss action plan Sector Officers and Police Sector Officers in anticipation of the Parliamentary Elections.
The DM urged officers to exhibit proactive measures and foster seamless coordination in their duties. He emphasised the paramount importance of sensitivity mapping of polling stations and advocated for preemptive categorisation to ensure optimal security measures and the unhindered progress of the polling process.
In the meeting held the other day, officers were diligently briefed on their respective responsibilities. They were briefed about Model Code of Conduct and the crucial role they play in maintaining the integrity of the electoral process.
SSP, Dr. Vinod Kumar reiterated the vital role of the police officers in ensuring the smooth conduct of elections, instilling motivation and determination among the attendees.
Other officers present in the meeting were Additional District Magistrate, Shishir Gupta and SP North Jammu, Shivam Siddharth besides others. |
