ASSOCHAM honors women achievers in 4th edition

JAMMU, Mar 15: In a celebration of excellence and achievement, The Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM) honored outstanding women achievers of Jammu and Kashmir in the 4th Edition of 'The ASSOCHAM J&K Women Achievers Award-2024.' The awards, presented to mark International Women's Day, recognized the exceptional contributions of women across various professional fields.
Mandeep Kaur, Commissioner/Secretary, Housing & Urban Development Department of J&K Jammu, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
The ASSOCHAM J&K Council invited nominations in different categories for the J&K Women Achievers 2023, receiving numerous nominations from which six outstanding women were awarded in different categories.
The esteemed awardees include:

Mandeep Kaur, while congratulating the winners, commended ASSOCHAM J&K Council for organizing such a commendable event.
"It is crucial to acknowledge and recognize the significant contributions of women in society and nation-building. Events like these inspire women to showcase their talent and potential to the world," she remarked.
Manik Batra, Chairman of ASSOCHAM J&K Council, emphasized the importance of such awards in empowering women entrepreneurs in Jammu and Kashmir, expressing the council's commitment to organizing similar events in the future.
All participants received certificates of participation, highlighting the council's dedication to encouraging and promoting women's achievements in diverse professional arenas.
"There are countless examples of women excelling in every professional domain, and they deserve recognition and appreciation from society," stated Bhupesh Gupta, Co-Chairman of ASSOCHAM J&K Council.
