JAMMU, Mar 16: The Career Counseling and Placement Cell of G.G.M. Science College, Jammu in collaboration with Institute of Advanced Studies, Puneorganized a webinar on 'Exploring Diverse Career Paths in Science: Navigating Competitive Exams and Beyond' under the patronage of worthy Principal Prof. Rajesh Kumar Gupta on16th of March 2024. The programaimed to educate the students about the diverse career avenues and opportunitiesavailable in the field of sciences.
Mahesh Shilake, faculty at IFAS, Pune was the resource person for the event. The speakergave the students an insight detail into the various competitive exams they can appear in after completing their graduation and also the methods and procedures to crack the same. He inspired and guided the young aspirants and equipped them with the toolsto navigate complex competitive exams and explore different career paths.
It was a very informative and elating session. A large number of students participated in the webinar.Principal Prof. Rajesh Kumar Gupta commended the spirited participation of the students and emphasized the need to recognize and work towards such causes which helps the students to choose an appropriate career in the future. Theprogram was coordinated by Dr. Davinder K. Sharma, Convener, Career Counseling and Placement Cell of the College. Other members of the Career Counseling and Placement CellProf. Kiran Bala, Prof. Sunita Kumari, Prof. Arun Sharma, Prof. SheetuRaina and Prof. Ameeq R. Choudhary also participated in the online event.The session concluded with the formal vote of thanks by Prof. Kiran Bala.
