Jammu, Mar 17: A meeting was organized by Shiv Sena Hindustan in the village Natral of Block Bishnah under the chairmanship of Jammu and Kashmir President Pt Rajesh Kesri, in which dozens of youth, influenced by Shiv Sena Hindustan activities, joined the party.
The new entrants include Rohit Kumar, Rahul Kumar, Sanjay Kumar, Rajat Kumar Ravi Kumar, Dheeraj Kumar.
Speaking on the occasion, Kesri said that nowadays drugs are being sold a lot in the border areas, keeping this in view, we have launched a campaign in every village to eradicate drug addiction, for this purpose a meeting was held today in Natral Village and all the youth were asked to pledge that they will not consume any kind of drugs and will promote our party and will help the candidates contesting elections. For the last one year, Shiv Sena has been working in every village of RS Pura Border. Kesri urged the parents of the children in the meeting and even the small children of 14-15 years of age to stay away from the consumption of drugs and other dry intoxicants which were growing in the society.
He said young generation is a ray of hope of the society, which is the responsibility of every parent and every social worker to save. Kesri further said that as long as the young generation does not obey their parents and respect their elders, drug sellers will dominate the young generation.
Today’s young generation should also pay attention to the progress of the country and take care of their family and their health. Attention should also be paid to this because intoxication makes the body hollow from inside like a termite and destroys a person’s thinking power, added Kesri. Kesri observed that because of this intoxication the children in the border areas have lost their parents and siblings. They lost their lives at such a young age due to drug addiction.
He requested the young generation to respect their elders and also pay attention towards their religious activities so that their mentality becomes capable of serving the country’s progress and become great officers by focusing on their studies and health.
