| Absconder evading arrest for 3 years held | | |

Doda, Mar 18: Continuing its drive against the wanted criminals and absconders, Doda Police has arrested one absconder who was evading his arrest since 2021 i.e after 03 years.
Police said that accused person namely Mohd Akram s/o Mohd Farooq Gujjar R/ o Dapryal Teh Marh Distt Jammu was wanted in case FIR No.95/2021 u/s 188 ipc 11 PCA Act of Police Station Doda.The said accused person was declared as absconder by the Hon’ble court of law and general warrant of arrest under section 299 Cr.P.C was issued against him. The said absconder was evading his arrest since 2021. In order to arrest him, a special team was constituted on the directions of senior officers headed by HC Abdul Lateef of PP Khalani under the guidance of SHO Police Station Doda Inspr. Padam Dev Singh and Dy. SP Hqrs Doda Sh Ajay Anand and under the overall supervision of Sr. Superintendent of Police Doda Sh. Javaid IqbalJKPS. The special team after hectic efforts technical surveillance and human resources also with the active help of ESU team of Distt. Doda tracked down the absconder and finally arrested him from Marh Jammu. The accused person shall be produced before the court of law. |
