Dgp ‘s chairs public darbar at DPL Doda

Doda, Mar 18: R.R.Swain, IPS, DGP, J&K, paid a visit to Doda and chaired a public Darbar and greviance redressal programme at District Police Lines Doda.
On arrival at DPL, the DGP was wholeheartedly welcomed by DIG DKR Range, Shri Shridhar Patil, IPS, DC Doda Harvinder Singh, IAS, SSP Doda, Shri Javaid Iqbal - JKPS and other officers of District Police Doda, Armed, traffic, other wings of DKR Range. The DGP on his arrival paid a tributes by laying wreath at Martyrs memorial in DPL Doda.
In a day long visit to Doda, the DGP presided over a scheduled Public Interaction -cum- grievance redressal programme which witnessed a massive response as large number of people turned for the Programme and putforth their grievances directly to DGP J&K.
The DGP heard all the grievances patiently and assured the Darbar participants, time bound redressal of genuine issues. The interaction -cum-grievance redressal programme was attended by people from Gandoh, Dessa, Assar, Marmat, Bhaderwah, families of Police Martyrs, serving Police personnel and placed their grievances for redressal before the DGP.
The DGP said that we are planning for increasing the frequency of Public grievances redressal programme at different levels to ensure that multitudes of complaints from the public are redressed effectively and added that it is the primary
aim of Police to provide justice which entails differentiating right from wrong.
