| Inter-State woman drug peddler held with Heroin | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 19: Jammu Police continuing its drive under Operation Sanjeevani against drug peddlers, today on 19.03.2024 arrested one inter-state drug peddler namely Kosur Sotra R/o New Flats, Jammu and recovered 231 grams of heroine (chitta) like substance.
The team, headed by Inspector Sudhir Sadhotra SHO PS Gandhinagar with PSI Zulfiqar Ahmad under the supervision of SDPO South Kartik Shrotriya-IPS and SP South Ajay Sharma-JKPS apprehended the drug peddler in Gandhinagar area and recovered heroine(Chitta)like substance from her.
In this regard, a case FIR No. 68/2024 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Gandhinagar and investigation of the case taken up. General public has highly applaud efforts of Jammu Police for taking stringent measures against drug peddlers and curbing the drug menace from the society. Jammu Police enjoined upon all citizens of Jammu to be aware of drug menace and report any incident to Jammu Police. The identity of the person informing regarding this menace will not be disclosed to anyone. |
