| Doda police apprehends bovine smuggler, rescued animals | | |

Doda, Mar 19: In a statement issued by Doda Police it was told that a Police party of Police Station Gandoh was on patrolling duty in a general area of Soti, Dudwar etc. During during patrolling, it was learnt through reliable sources that a bovine smuggler has carried bovine animals from Icchair Dudwar area of Gandoh towards Kashmir via Sarliya Samai ,Bhal Padhri for selling purpose. Soon after the receipt of the information, the police party laid a Naka at Diggi Nallah and one bovine smuggler who was found carrying two bovine animals without any valid permission of the concerned authority,was apprehended by the Police party. .
In this connection case FIRs No. 15/2024 under relevant sections of law was registered in Police Station Gandoh and investigation of the cases started.
Pertinent to mention here that Doda Police has launched special drive against the bovine smugglers,drug smugglers and other criminals and appeals the general public to cooperate with Police to build a crime free atmosphere in the District. |
