| Police arrests drug peddler,7 gms heroin recovered | | |

Jammu, Mar 19: Jammu Police continuing efforts to eradicate the drug menace from the society, Police Station Bus Stand has arrested drug peddler and recovered narcotic substance from his possession.
A police party of Police Station Bus Station headed by SHO Bus Stand Inspector Vikas Dogra under the supervision of SP City North Jammu Sh.Shivam Sidharth-IPS and SDPO City North Sh Devinder Singh Bandral-JKPS apprehended one Auto driver bearing Auto registration No. JKO2CH 5914 and recovered approx 7.0 grams of heroin (Chitta)like Narcotic substance.
The said auto driver has been identified as Rahul Dogra S/o Lt. Rattan Lal R/o Rehari Jammu. On this FIR under sections of NDPS has been registered in the P/S Bus Stand and investigation is underway. More arrests are likely to be made in the case.
People of bus stand area have highly appreciated the drive initiated by Jammu Police to eradicate the drug menace from the society. |
