Mahindra Unveils Next-Gen CRUZIO BS6 Bus Chassis in Jammu

Jammu, Mar 19: In a significant move aimed at revolutionizing the transportation landscape, Mahindra Truck and Bus Division (MTBD), a part of the esteemed Mahindra Group, introduced its latest offering, the Mahindra CRUZIO BS6 bus chassis. The unveiling ceremony, held in Jammu on March 18, 2024, witnessed the presence of key dignitaries and stakeholders from the transportation industry.
The event, graced by MTB ZBH Jitendra Bahadur, MTB ABM Hitesh Jain, and Dharender Sharma, Managing Director of Prestige Truck and Bus Pvt. Ltd., marked a milestone in Mahindra’s commitment to enhancing customer experience and setting new standards in the bus chassis segment.
Among the notable attendees were Ajit Singh, Chairman of All J&K Transport Welfare Association, Kuldeep Singh, ARTO Passenger Segment, Vijay Singh Chib, President of All J&K Transport Welfare Association, Sanjeev Choudhary of Sanjeev Travels, and prominent transporters from J&K.
During the ceremony, seven keys to the state-of-the-art CRUZIO bus chassis were handed over to esteemed transporters, symbolizing the beginning of a new era in transportation excellence.
Addressing the gathering, Mr. Dharender Sharma expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “The unveiling of the new CRUZIO bus chassis today marks a defining moment for our Truck and Bus business. CRUZIO embodies our commitment to elevate the LCV bus platform, ensuring unparalleled safety, comfort, and performance for our customers.”
He further emphasized the significance of CRUZIO in meeting the evolving needs of bus operators, citing its exceptional features tailored to enhance passenger experience and operational efficiency. Highlighting the vehicle’s safety standards, Mr. Sharma underscored CRUZIO’s compliance with various regulatory requirements, including AIS norms for rollover tests, bus body code, and stringent noise and vibration standards.
Key features of the Mahindra CRUZIO include enhanced visibility, efficient braking performance, highest ground clearance in its category, best-in-class seat width, ergonomic design for maximum comfort, and Mahindra’s patented FuelSmart Technology for optimal fuel consumption.
Moreover, CRUZIO is equipped with an advanced in-house developed telematics solution, ensuring utmost safety, vehicle tracking, fuel monitoring, and enhanced operational efficiency as per AIS 140 norms.
