JAMMU, Mar 20: Under the esteemed patronage of Prof. Seema Mir, the Principal of Government Degree College (Boys) Kathua, the Department of Commerce organized an enlightening Interactive Career Counselling and Student Development Program on March 20, 2024. The session, conducted in collaboration with Get Online College (GoC), College Career 360, and Shoolini University, aimed to provide students with valuable insights into higher education and career prospects.
The event commenced with a formal welcome address by Prof. Charandeep Handa, Head of the Department of Commerce, setting the stage for an engaging session ahead. Mr. Divay Mahajan, Regional Head of Shoolini University and an expert in online education and career counselling, served as the main speaker for the session.
Mahajan's presentation focused on exploring the diverse career opportunities available in higher education, with a special emphasis on online education. He elucidated the benefits of online learning, including flexibility, accessibility, and cost-effectiveness, while also addressing students' concerns regarding the credibility of online degrees.
